David Hassan is an internationally recognised Professor of Sport Policy and Management. He supports the FIA’s mission as a knowledge-led organisation through the research agenda of FIA University. Professor Hassan has published 15 books and 180 peer-reviewed academic papers, is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and has held Visiting Professorships at some of the world’s leading Universities. He has delivered keynote papers and spoken at several international conferences, collaborating with many major international sporting bodies, including UEFA. His work in the field of motorsport is globally recognised.
