FIA Motorsport Engineering Scholarship

Each year, one outstanding student from an FIA region is awarded a fully funded place on the MSc in Advanced Motorsport Mechatronics programme at Cranfield University in the UK.

Why Cranfield?

Cranfield University is globally recognised for excellence in motorsport engineering, with graduates progressing to top teams, manufacturers, and motorsport organisations worldwide. Its facilities include the FIA-approved Cranfield Impact Centre and AXSIM Racing Simulator. Courses are developed in collaboration with industry leaders and delivered in the heart of the UK’s Motorsport Valley.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree in science or engineering and demonstrate the potential to succeed in the demanding world of motorsport. The FIA particularly welcomes applications from individuals underrepresented in the sector.

A Global Platform for Future Engineers

The scholarship is more than a study grant – it is a launchpad. Past scholars have come from Argentina, Pakistan, and India, and gone on to contribute to innovation and inclusivity in motorsport engineering.
